When I started researching destinations for our Fall New England trip, I looked into Sleepy Hollow, New York (we would be flying into New York) so this would be a perfect stop on the day before we left to come home.
I was so excited to visit Sleepy Hollow in the Fall and around Halloween time. When I started looking up things to do, I found the Great Jack o Lantern Blaze in Sleepy Hollow and it looked amazing! However, the prices were a little high. When we got there though, we decided it was definitely worth it!
This is the coolest Halloween attraction we have ever been to! There are thousands of pumpkins that create the most magical and amazing displays and this was one of our favorite parts of our whole New England Fall road trip.

The Great Jack o’ Lantern Blaze is a self-paced, 1/2 mile walk-through experience that allows you to soak in the mesmerizing sights at your own leisure. As you wander through the Blaze, remember to take your time and capture the memories with plenty of photos – the intricate designs and elaborate displays are truly Instagram-worthy!
It’s important to note that the walk-through is one-way, and re-entry is not permitted, so be sure to absorb every detail and take advantage of the many photo opportunities along the way. It took us about an hour to go through everything.

Before you head to the Great Jack o’ Lantern Blaze, here are some essential details to keep in mind: tickets are non-refundable, even in the case of inclement weather, so plan accordingly.
On the bright side, parking is free and you can arrive up to 30 minutes before your scheduled ticket time to park and get settled.
Be sure to act fast when tickets go on sale, as they tend to sell out extremely quickly.
The event is wheelchair and stroller accessible, but please note that the path can be somewhat bumpy and uneven in some areas.
Additionally, consider wearing comfortable shoes and dressing for the weather, as the event is primarily outdoors.

There will be a lot of fun surprises this year at the Great Jack o Lantern Blaze because they will be celebrating their 20th year! There will be a giant birthday cake and celebration arch. There will also be a Gourd and Goblet Tavern and an all new VIP experience! There will be some new movie monsters and even a giant Kraken in the river!
